ABOUT THE PROMOTERS …

	IIJ is promoted by the Modern India Enterprise. The group is set up and promoted under the aegis of the Jatia family. MIE also manages and run several other business like – Textiles, Real Estates, Trading, Gems & jewellery and education. They have a history of education through their philanthropic contribution to various educational institutes in Mumbai & Rajasthan. A centre for Capital & Market Research studies at the NM College & School of Management at IIT Mumbai. Their long term vision to expand their Education Business to other areas of industry relevant skill building programs.

MIE during financial year 2007 – 2008 figured amongst the top 1000 companies of India listed on the BSE. They secured a position of 990 in the ranking published by Business Today on December 16, 2007. The company has also been positioned at 295 in the Dalal Street Small Cap 400 rankings.

At MIE we believe that Management, in the sense of employer, is merely the agent for the public, the stockholders & employees.It is management's job to preserve the balance fairly between all these groups; that each may have his fair share without imperiling the continuity and success of the enterprise as a whole.
