MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN’S DESK …

Welcome to the Indian Institute of Jewellery (IIJ)

IIJ first opened its doors in the year 2004 with only one program, the Master Creator- Jewellery Manufacturing Program; and since then has introduced over fifteen other jewellery education programs. Our international education standards and curriculum have enabled us to train over 2000 students in the last couple of years, through various programs and workshops conducted by IIJ.

All the programs are efficiently documented including the methodology of delivery. The handouts and assessment methods carried out by the institute are continuously updated as per the feedback received from the Jewellery fraternity on an ongoing basis.

IIJ’s synergy with the Gems & Jewellery Industry is evident through the many Customized Corporate Training Programs such as “Sampoorne” conducted by the institute for industry stalwarts such as TBZ, Tanishq, C. Krishniah Chetty, Chintamani, Asmi, Sangini, India Government MINT and All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF). Over 43 other jewellery companies are in collaboration with IIJ to recruit IIJ students under the successful Preferred Recruitment Partner (PRP) initiative. To help students gain experience in the industry IIJ assist all students with value added services such as Placements, Housing Assistance, Annual Job Fair & Parinam – Annual Convocation & Exhibition Ceremony.
